Golden Record evolution brings greater transparency, speed and trust to Catena-X participants

Cologne, July 2026. Cofinity-X has officially launched the next evolution of Golden Record, introducing a new real-time entity resolution architecture that increases speed, transparency and trust across the Catena-X ecosystem. The upgrade provides significantly faster access to trusted business partner identities, and more explainable matching decisions.

A stronger foundation for trusted business identities

Accurate business partner data are the cornerstone of trusted collaboration across Catena-X. As the ecosystem continues to grow globally, entity resolution must scale with increasing numbers of companies, addresses and business relationships. Similar company names, changing addresses, duplicate records and increasingly complex business relationships make entity resolution progressively more challenging at ecosystem scale. The Golden Record by Cofinity-X addresses this challenge by providing a central pool of business partner data, enriched with datasets from major partners to create a unique and continuously maintained source. By creating and maintaining a shared representation of business partners, Golden Record helps participants identify the same company consistently across systems and organizations.

The latest evolution of the Golden Record introduces real time entity resolution, enabling significantly faster access to trusted business partner identities. Customers benefit from real time updates instead of batch processing, allowing for more responsive and efficient business processes. Existing integrations continue to work without changes, while real-time entity resolution and more consistent matching create a stronger foundation for trusted collaboration across the Catena-X ecosystem.

At the same time, the new architecture increases transparency around entity matching. Participants gain more control over how business partner identities are established, governed and maintained. This strengthens confidence in entity data and supports more trusted collaboration across the ecosystem.

The new capabilities are enabled through the integration of real time entity resolution technology from Tilores.
