Which app provider is the perfect fit for me? The June 2026 App Provider Overview is now available.

We have published the latest edition of the Catena-X App Provider Overview: a clear, use-case-based guide to certified app providers on the Cofinity-X Marketplace.
With more than 70 apps and services (as of 22 June 2026) available on the Cofinity-X Marketplace, finding the right provider for your Catena-X use case can be challenging. The overview helps you quickly identify which certified providers support the use cases you want to activate. Each provider has completed the Catena-X certification process for one or more of nine use cases, confirming that their apps meet the Catena-X interoperability and data sovereignty standards.

The map is organized by use case, so rather than browsing a list of vendors, you can immediately see which providers are active in the area that matters to you.
Nine use cases, one marketplace
Core Setup refers to the technical requirements and services that allow participants to join the Catena-X dataspace and enable standardized, sovereign data exchange such as an Eclipse Dataspace Components (EDC) connector and a Digital Twin Registry (DTR). Core Setup is the must have every company needs, regardless of which use case they want to run on top of it. Nine certified companies are active in Core Setup including Bosch, SAP, T-Systems, MHP, Sovity, and Cofinity-X, alongside aimtec, Circular Solutions, and Infirium. For companies joining Catena-X, this means genuine choice in how you get connected.
Company Certificate Management (CCM), the exchange and verification of compliance certificates between partners. This easy use case is the preferred entry point into Catena-X and it is the mandatory first step for SMEs applying to the Data Space Accelerator, a German government funded study offering SMEs up to €30,000 net for joining Catena-X. Five certified providers, BASF, Cofinity-X, MHP, Sovity, and T-Systems, support this mandatory first step for joining Catena-X.
Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), calculating and exchanging product-level CO₂ data. It allows more accurate Scope 1‑3 PCF measurements and better comparability across the supply chain The use case matters because customers and regulators alike are asking automotive suppliers for verified emissions data. The use case distinguishes between applications capable of calculating PCF data and facilitating cross‑company data exchange, and applications that are limited to either calculating carbon data only or exchanging PCF data without calculation functionality.
PCF calculation: iPoint-Systems GmbH, Siemens China, carbmee GmbH
PCF data exchange: Infirium, DASS-X, Siemens AG, SAP SE, T-Systems International GmbH, Sovity
PCF calculation & data exchange: BASF SE, Siemens AG, Glassdome Inc
Digital Product Passport (DPP) and Traceability are gaining real traction. Each use case now counts four certified providers. BloqSens, Circulor, DigiProd Pass, and Siemens cover DPP, while Cofinity-X, GEC, sovity, and T-Systems handle Traceability. The DPP enables a digital, traceable battery passport capturing lifecycle and recycling data. Traceability allows organizations to enable end-to-end visibility of parts, materials, and components across the automotive supply chain, replacing fragmented, manual processes with standardized digital data exchange powered by interconnected digital twins.
Demand & Capacity Management already offers a strong provider base. Demand & Capacity Management enables agile, collaborative, and resilient planning across the automotive supply chain by allowing companies to share demand forecasts, exchange capacity information, and trigger bottleneck alerts through trusted, standardized, and decentralized data exchange. With three certified providers, Kinaxis, MIRA DCM-Suite, and o9 solutions, companies have several options to support.
The following use cases are each covered by one provider only:
Business Partner Data Management (Centralized sharing and enrichment of business partner data): Cofinity-X
Quality (Sharing of diagnostic, claim, vehicle, and production data to detect defects early and enable joint analysis): SAP SE
Short Term Supply Management (PURIS) (Collaborative short-term planning of supply and demand): Cofinity-X
Additional providers are expected as these use cases mature.
Explore the growing international Marketplace
Every app provider shown in the overview is listed on the Cofinity-X Marketplace, where companies can explore individual apps, compare capabilities, and connect directly with providers. The growing number of certified apps and services underlines the increasing relevance of the Cofinity-X Marketplace as the central access point for Catena-X solutions. It reflects the global Catena-X ecosystem, with providers from the DACH region and across Europe, as well as South Korea, China, Japan, and the United States, among others. This broader provider landscape gives companies more choice, supports regional adoption, and strengthens interoperable, sovereign data exchange across international automotive value chains.
