1. Join the Catena-X ecosystem
To manage your certificates in Catena-X, your company first needs to have an active registration to the Catena-X dataspace through Cofinity-X.
What you'll need
- Register with Cofinity-X
- Complete company verification
- Receive your Business Partner Number (BPN) and the required Catena-X credentials to access the dataspace

2. Connect your systems
Before you can exchange data within the ecosystem, you need to set up your technical environment.
What you'll need
- An EDC connector (dataspace connector)
- Registration of your EDC connector in the Catena-X dataspace
- Access to a CCM-capable application (most EDC connectors already come with a CCM solution).
Your organisation can now securely provide and consume certificate data.

3. Digitise your company certificates
Upload your existing company certificates in Catena-X compliant formats (pdf).
Typical certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, AEO, VDA certificates, other supplier compliance certificates
4. Configure partner access
Decide which customers, suppliers or business partners can access specific certificates.
What you'll do:
- Define visibility rules
- Grant access to selected business partners
- Configure bilateral sharing where required

Share certificates with your business partners.
