Catena-X Onboarding

SK AX is the first and only officially recognized Catena-X Onboarding Service Provider (OSP) in Korea, supporting companies across the automotive value chain to join and operate within the Catena-X dataspace. Leveraging deep expertise in data sovereignty, trust frameworks, and connector deployment, SK AX enables organizations to onboard in a fully compliant and efficient manner.

As an OSP, SK AX provides end-to-end onboarding support, including Eclipse Dataspace Connector (EDC) setup, network configuration, Gaia-X Self-Description creation, identity and trust establishment using VC/VP-based mechanisms, and validation against Catena-X standards and rulebooks. Through these services, customers can seamlessly integrate with the Catena-X ecosystem and exchange data securely and reliably.  SK AX has conducted one of the first Catena-X aligned PoCs in Korea, demonstrating the full data exchange flow, DPP/PCF scenario implementation, and cross-company connector interoperability. This practical experience allows SK AX to provide onboarding guidance grounded in real operational scenarios, minimizing customer effort and reducing onboarding timelines.

SK AX also offers readiness support for Catena-X use cases such as Digital Product Passport (DPP) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), including data model alignment, metadata mapping, and API integration.
